国外的迈亲做致敬视频，用的音乐是歌手Luther Vandross （路德?文德斯）唱的一首歌，歌名叫《每一年，每个圣诞节》。虽然三年过去了，我们思念Michael的心并没有改变，很多人或许都在心里跟Michael说，每一年，每个圣诞节，我都会在这里等你。

Luther Vandross是美国著名的歌手、作词和音乐制作人，曾获八项格莱美奖，专辑销量约为两千五百万张。由于Vandross在R&B方面的深厚造诣，网上曾有人一定要将Michael和Luther比较，结果很多歌迷都说，Luther善于叙事、抒情，Michael擅长节奏、旋律，两个人在各自的领域里都有臻至完美的表现，并无高下可比。Luther与Michael虽然合作不多，但在Michael发起的“迈克尔和他的朋友们（Michael & His Friends)”慈善演出，以及他的从艺30周年纪念晚会上，Luther均积极参与。只是Luther一直患有高血压和糖尿病，2005年因心脏病逝于新泽西州埃迪逊的一所医院，年仅54岁。
